Tibis (Beef Steak) is another common dish in the Ethiopian cuisine.
1 lbs Beef (cut in cubes)
1 Red Onion (sliced in pieces)
1 Tomato
1 clove of Garlic (optional)
2 tbsp Cooking Oil
1/2 tsp Black pepper (optional)
1 tsp Salt
Fresh Rosemary
1 Green Pepper
Awaze/a blend of berbere and butter/oil (optional)
If you want to spice the serving, blend berbere with oil or melted kibeh (butter) and serve it at the side with the Tibs. It is traditionally served with Injera but it can also be served with bread, pitta, or rice.
