The National Association of Colleges and Employers, through a task force of college career services and HR/staffing professionals, has developed a definition, based on extensive research among employers, and identified eight competencies associated with career readiness: Oral/Written Communication, Digital Technology, Critical Thinking / Problem Solving, Teamwork / Collaboration, Professionalism / Work Ethic, Career Management, Global / Intercultural Fluency, and Leadership.

 

Are you career ready?

According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (N.A.C.E.), Career readiness is the attainment and demonstration of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace.

Although this course was created by and for the Wichita State University community, it is open to anyone seeking training.

If you score an 85% or higher on the quiz, you will receive a non-credit digital credential with an optional printable certificate from Credly.com.
