Looking down on Wichita State's campus filled with students

If you are an international student or considering becoming one, this short course will introduce you to many of the differences and emotions you may experience. We will cover the “W” curve, American classroom culture, social etiquette, the importance of staying in touch with your family and culture, finances, and how to make friends. Although written and designed by Wichita State University, this course is suited for international students at any American college or university. Please allow up to 30 minutes to complete this course and the competency quiz.

Next, click on one of the lessons below. At the bottom of each window, you will have the option to mark the lesson as complete (which will move you to the next lesson) or click on the “next lesson” button.
